What to Do at AMS

Clubs and Organizations

Get involved with groups that meet during and after school! At AMS, you can start or join a club. Please come to the Counseling Office for a Club Request Form. Here are some of the clubs at school last year. 

  • Associated Student Body (ASB)
  • Latino Student Union 
  • Black Student Union
  • Gender-Sexuality Alliance (GSA)

Interscholastic Sports

The following must be completed before you can turn out for any sport:

  1.  Have a Sport Physical on file with the Athletic Department (good for two years). Wrestling – Weight Permit, too
  2. Complete forms on FinalForms website. To access your account, visit the FinalForms website and click on the “Click here for a confirmation email” link under the Parent Icon. Then enter your parent email that is on file with your student’s Skyward account. FinalForms will send you an email for you to complete your account registration. If you need additional support, please read through the FinalForms Registration instructions website. 
  3.  Have no more than one “F” grade maximum – can still tryout or practice, however consistent grade checks are required to play in competitions.
  4. Purchase of an ASB Card ($15) - available online or at the ASB/Athletic Office window
  5. Pay-to-Play fee ($130) per sport - due before first competition *If a sport is a & 'cut sport' the Sport Fee will be paid after the teams are posted. If you qualify for Free/Reduced Lunch, please complete the optional benefits consent form and give it to Mrs. Moltz in order to waive your Sport Fee*
  6. Have NO AMS Fines in order to participate in competitions/games.
